Bus mans holiday?

I will soon be traveling back to Scotland from the pacific and I would like to see a bit of America. I am a carpenter by trade and and all round builder. Does anyone have a project that they need help with in return for board and lodgings and a small wage.

I hate to say this, but most people won't trust this kind of e-mail. People are very cautious and don't know a thing about you. For all we know, you could be deranged. I know that sounds harsh, but it is reality in this country. I wish you luck, I'm sure you're a nice guy, but I can't take that chance. Sorry
