umm..how does the world function if this statement is true? All employed people were new once. One time I was desperate for a part time job and I applied at the local McDonald's. I was hired instantly, got the uniform, left, and never went back.

Your job must have bad pay or terrible benefits. If you treated employees right with proper wages, they would show up.
