I was transferred to another section at work. That guy started to train me. He doesn't know english that well so I had him repeat several times to understand. He knows his stuff. But his breath was killing me. The management knew. I had to cut the training. Is it right for the management to do nothing?

Why? I have never written one. I am trying to apply for an office assistant position which will be a good thing for me(less stress). I have my resume together but I do not want to send it without a cover letter? Hopefully the letter will UP my chances with getting hired( I have a truck note to pay in two weeks). The job notes for me to send a salary requirement along with the resume. If thats not added my application will not be considered. I want to find part time work, maybe in the mall but most stores require people to be available at all mall hours
I applied for jobs at the food stores/markets but they only have graveyard shifts available, which I don't think I can handle it on top of having to go to school in the morning
can anyone give me some ideas?

I am working as an IT administrator for over 3 years and I am going to move to the airline field as an Cargo Trafic Staff.
I know that there will be an answer during the interview that will ask me why do I make such change. From a non-related job to a cargo trafic staff.
Would anybody suggest me a persuasive reason please?
FYI: Cargo trafic staff will deal with cargo booking and calculating to balance them when the cargo are dispatched onto the aircraft.

My real reason is due to a work related wrist injury, I couldn't do the heavy lifting that I was required to do any longer. I don't want that to keep me from getting a job so I am not real sure what to put on a job application. Can you offer any suggestions please?
I don't want to lie or hide it, I would like to know what to write on the application that doesn't sound so negative.
I also have been off work for 3 1/2 years, I decided to take some time to regroup (pretty stressed about losing my previous job) and possibly start a family (didn't happen). I was morbidly obese when I lost my job and have lost most of my excess weight, I am fit and strong now except for my bad wrist, so I think I can explain my gap in employment OK but I am concerned about my reason for leaving.

I've been a letter carrier for 18 yrs. and walked 15 miles a day for the past 15 yrs. while carrying a 35 lb. bag on my shoulder through rain sleet snow and heat. up a mntn. of steps everyday. well- my knees, ankles and feet finally gave into major arthritis complications. Now, after 18 yrs. of loyal service, they are puttiing me through the "ringer". I've submitted major medical documentation of my condiition and they tell me it could take up to 6 months before I MAY recieve a check! Has anyone been through this, or do you know of anyone that has?

An old boss offered an amazing job to me, but involves 1w/month of travel, and I have two small kids (4yo and 1.5yo) and can't be MIA that much. Would you try to negotiate? Just say no & continue job hunting? ideas? It would be a consutling engineering job with clients in other states/provinces.

I'm sick of my job. I never take a day off, I work a lot more than everyone else here, and my boss doesn't appreciate it. Last year, I didn't use my vacation days at all, so the girl from human resources wrote me an e-mail remindng me I have my 2 week vacaction. I want to quit my job, should I take the 2 week vacation, and then come back and tell them I quit?

I sent about 15 resumes on Monday and so far, I only got one call back. I had my interview with them yesterday and I think it went well. They told me they'll call me back next week. As for the other companies, should I wait a few more days for them to call me or should I just accept the job offer from the company that interviewed me. How long does it usually take for companies to call their applicants for interviews?

I'm due in October. After a 12 week leave, I'd go back January 2. I don't know the person who I'll hire to keep my baby because I only have one relative here and everyone else is new to me. My family relocated here last year and will move again in 2-6 years to be nearer to our family. I love my work, but I can also work in my other talents from home with the exception of meetings. WHEN SHOULD I SHARE THIS WITH MY BOSS? (I teach computer classes part time and will do about 8 hours per week in January...that is until I resign, if that is what me and my family decide) I also have a 13 year old who needs me home. PLEASE ANSWER! Thank you!!!
