I would chose EE. Now you guess why. I found my work very interesting, seldom a dull moment. Different problems often enough to keep things interesting. Specialize in automation as that's where things are heading. Or you could put on a plastic eye shade and read columns and columns and columns of numbers all day.
Vaya con DIOS

It all depends on what you mean is 'BEST'.
Obviously, EE requires a good understanding of Physics and Mathematics. You need to ask yourself what interest you and what you enjoy.

My younger brother was majored in EE and he dropped out in his third year in the program. He ended up with a Business degree. Yup, he is the 'dump' one in our family, not because he dropped out of EE program but he did not weigh his strengths and interests before joining the EE program.
I have another brother who graduated in BA and he is doing very well as he realized he has a good 'business mind' early on and wanted to pursue that avenue.

As for the pay, if you really enjoy the subject matter, you will be able to excel in it and pay becomes a less important factor. For the example in my family, my brother who has a good business mind, earns a 6 figures salary. While my 'EE dropout' brother, is still struggling as he got layoff a few years back. His lack of enthusiasm was obvious at the workplace.

Choose wisely.

CPA definitely

Why people have such limited knowledge of what actual CPA's are doing? CPA is not the person doing the books and every day entries-that is what bookkeepers are for (there is a huge difference). CPA's are working on management level from advising about investments and different options to creating internal control systems. Its a very interesting and challenging job.

depends on how old are you and if you know the difference between the two to begin with...

CPAs usually end up practicing what they learnt growing up and going to school...and keep working long hours through old age unless they figure out how to grwo their retail practices (if they start one like doctors)...gives high profile presence and interaction with many small business owners and entrepreneurs...

Electrical engineers are smart and yet may end up working for some company or starting their own independent contracting businesses...and make a tonne of money anyway but in terms of visibility, it may be a bit low profile...

Depends on your own talents and interests.

Many people would say it is more difficult to get an engineering degree than an accounting degree.
