Don't show your nerves....relax....take your time to think about the question before you answer it....be confident in your answers...and have your answers rehearsed before the interview.
They will be marking you on a points system.....so if you **** up one answer...don't fret...you can make it up in another!! Remember they're after specific answers....they will ask you questions about police related events in the news...so gen up on that. Mine lasted for 2 and a half hours!!!
Make sure you arrive in plenty of time.....and that you're dressed appropriately!!!
GOOD LUCK!! :o)
P.S. They will ask you for examples of:
1. Self-motivation...give an example of this.
2. Motivation.
3. Diversity issues.
4. Innovation and creativity
But you should have already given these examples when you completed the application form.

Be yourself. Try to convince them of your suitability for the Police by addressing the key points in your Job Description and Person Specification. Cite examples from your life where you've used judgement, diplomacy and, where necessary, force. Be sensible, think carefully before answering, oh and good luck. You sound like you'll make a good police officer if you're thinking about what to say.

Just be yourself and don't panic. They are looking for people who keep calm under pressure and who come across as being level-headed ,eager to learn and who are compassionate and caring. Be decisive with your answers and don't waffle but avoid being a know-it -all smart ****.Have some questions in reserve to ask them at the end then it will show that you are interested in the job.Look out for "racist " questions,.... they hate racism. Good luck.

Be honest and be yourself.
It's no good putting on an act to impress the interviewers. You'd be found out before you finish training.

Be sure to answer their questions, not what you think the question should, or might, have been. DON'T waffle - if you don't know the answer, say so and they can then get on to the next question without having to watch you floundering. Good luck!
