If they want to hire you, they'll be in touch. If not, they will leave you hanging. But why would you want to work for a company like Starbuck's anyway. They're awful.

You should call them, be very polite and ask. Say something like, ( Hi my name is *****, I'm just calling to follow up on my application to your company.) It looks really good when you do that, I used to interview people for my last employer and we liked aggressive, eager to work, forward people.(Don't be too aggressive, sound happy..). Not shy or insecure. Thank them anyway, even if you don't get a conclusive answer and before you hang up ask when would be a good time to call back and whom should you talk to. This will make them see how interested you are in the position you are applying for, and sometimes they don't even notice you until you make yourself noticed.. Sound logical? Good luck!

Starbucks = not the most difficult place to get hired.

A.) Call them and let them know you still want the job.

B.) Get used to the following exchange:

"I'll have a double-mocha half-calf with a shot of low fat cream. Grande!!"

"That'll be eight dollars, please.."

I think you have to go through an interview first before you can assume you are going to be hired. Why don't you cast a broader net and keep looking for and applying for other jobs?

Call them and ask about the chances of being employed. If they come up with a credible answer, have patience. If it's "buts", contact other potential employers.
