They are looking for quantifiable strengths. “Loyal, smart, eager, friendly” are all ‘soft skills’, but that’s not what we look for when we ask that question. MY strengths in an interview have been answers like “I work exceptionally well under pressure or in a fast-paced environment” or “I know how to ‘handle’ a problem, I don’t need supervision, just direction” – one more to try on… “I’m reliable and accountable. If I you ask me to do something, it’s guaranteed to get done (and to the best of my ability)”. Good luck!

Great answer - as long as it's the truth. Now, what about the 'next' question - "What is your greatest weakness?"

Willingness to learn, slow to judge, friendly and professional are all 'good' things to have as strengths.

"Fast learner" sounds rather elementary. Try "I can assess situations quickly" - God bless!
