Hi, I have 4yrs experience in Software testing. I recently started looking for a change and have got offeres from both WIPRO and COGNIZANT. Both are offering the same designation, pay and benefits. Im based in Chennai and the offers are also for Chennai. My dilema is which one do I choose. CTS gives for the first year a joining bonus of Rs50,000 as an extra after 3 months. Other than that there is nothing to choose between them in pay. Both the offices are away from city. Donno which vertical Im gonna join in these companies.

i thought it was OK to leave jobs off of your resume if you don't think they are important (E.g., jobs which are short-term consulting jobs where you are let go, say in less than 2 months, because you did not possess necessary job requirements).

So during the interview, if you are asked about the employment gap, then answer honestly about the job you omitted. Otherwise, don't worry about it. Is this reasoning correct?

Just so I can get a better Idea of how mine should look.. I have not applied for a new job in this industry for 6 years now and any help would be much appreciated as I know the industry changes Daily as I'm sure the way employers look for new employees has.. also if you know of any where to help with writing resume's that would be awesome too.. I've been working for a company for 15 months, they're only small so they are always looking to increase their profits by whatever means. They've managed to lay off or drive out other staff members and have eroded my own duties to the point where I spend most of the day scratching around for work. This has not gone unnoticed.
Since my original interview, another manager has had it in for me and has done her best to bully, accuse and undermine (all subtle, no witnesses) I did complain, but it simply made things worse
I am hard of hearing - this has suddenly become a capability issue.
I not upset - I do, of course, desperately need the money - but I've seen enough not to want to carry on anyway,.
I need to know the best way to resign without looking like a quitter.
Or should I stay until I'm pushed?
Will the (UK) state give me any assistance whilst I try to find another job?
I'm an HR Manager and I can't just tell them to stuff it - I desperately need a good reference.

I'm not homo or anything just to let people know. I just happen to have a thing with wanting to help people, and I really don't want to spend 8+ years of my life becoming a doctor. I have my heart set on becoming a certified nursing asst. (I'm 16) and i someday hope to be an RN. What's everyone's thoughts on the issue?
