I feel for you, honey. I know it's hard but first you have to realize that it's nothing against you personally. It's all on a professional level but there could have been someone else a tad more qualified or someone with the same experience but wanted less money. You'll be upset for a while but soon you'll realize that there is a better career waiting for you - patience is a virtue!

Oh do I ever feel your pain.
I am also looking for a job. I actually had a job, and it went for a credit check (since it was for a credit union) and I was denied the job. Talk about being crushed. It was the perfect job, doing exactly what I wanted, and for more money than I was expecting.
In effort to just get a job, so I could help feed my family, I put in an app with a retail store, just as sales, I have 2 years retail, 3 years management, and 7 years customer service, and you know what they said? I didn't meet their requirements, but yet they will hire someone who had never worked before. That was a stab in the gut, big time.
You will take blows and some might come as a surprise. Every time I get a rejection letter or call, or no word, I check out my resume, and spice it up or tone other parts down, but it is constantly being changed. It tends to help me out a little.
And if you have had several rejections, the pain might show in your face when you go and interview, and they can see that, and might translate it into something totally different. Learn different relaxation techniques and find something that is good for you.
Good luck in your future endeavors.

There will be very few ppl in this world who have been not rejected atleast once in the job interviews. Take it as a learning curve and go on. Getting job is also a matter of luck. If you dont get a job, just think that may be the job was not suitable for you. Who knows much better job is in store for you?
So don't get upset and just carry on.
Happy job hunting !!!

It's one of life's tough lessons. Winners keep trying. In the sales world we expect so many No's before we will get a sale. So every time we hear a no we are that much closer to getting a deal. Interviewing is selling your abilities for a position. Do not take the rejections personally ( yes, I know that's not easy) and keep plugging along. Good luck.

positive thinking!
Their loss not yours, so don't frett
next interview- in your mind, think as the if job is already yours, and you're the best person for it and this (interview) is just a formality (this will help boost your confidence)
Also getting (honest) feedback from the companies helps you for the future (on why yu were rejected).
End of it all it's about selling yourself, do your research (about the company,job,customers/clients) and have a look at the job description. Try and see if you match up to ALL the points that are on the job description this way you'll know that if you are suitable for the job before applying.
(further advice- give me a shout)

It's a learning experience. I too have been rejected because of lame excuses but you have to go on. Just think of it this way:Things happen for a reason so maybe you were not meant to have that job because something better that you like will come your way.
Figure out what made them say "no" in the first place. See if the others are the same. Then improve on it.
Good luck

Think of it this way:....It's THEIR loss for not hiring you. Are you a good person? Do you like to help others? Are you a hard worker? Are you friendly? Were you qualified? ....think of all the good things about who you are.... It's easy to get frustrated and down on yourself but you can't do that or you'll never be able to move on. And also realize, it might not be the right time for you to have that particular job...or there's another window of opportunity out there that's even BETTER for you that you'll love. So just realize that about yourself, and shrug those shoulders, hold your chin up and say "their loss".
Good Luck on finding that perfect job for yourself!

I think people get rejected from a job interview because the people doing the interviewing are just plain jealous.

I was a student at medical facility and in the last year i had a financial problem that didn't allow me to continue, I tried all the possible ways to solve this problem , but I couldn't solve it, I thought that it is a huge problem and I have nothing to do but to wait for someone to help me. After a short time I realized that it is my destiny (not to be a doctor). I started to look for another job. and look here I am a marketing manager. So don't frustrate, your destiny is waiting for you with a smile and keep trying.

With a computer at home and internet connection, you can start earning from home, without any investment. You should choose your work at home job according to your skills and time available.
If you have a good typing speed, general and legal transcription jobs from companies like Mountain West, Tigerfish and Accutran are available. Some of these companies do not require any experience.
You can apply directly from their websites which are listed at

Medical transcription work at home is also available if you have completed a course and have relevant experience.
