I live in detroit , MI....and the only way to get a good paying job in detroit is to be related to the mayor or be one of his body guards, and the only places that I know that are hiring is mcdonalds or any other fast food places

Detroit is a synonym for hell. Look low for now and work your way up. Also, look for jobs working for the city...gov't jobs pay well. Cosco is a good workplace too believe it or not. They pay as well as your average factory union job (16+/hour).
