I just moved here for college. I don't know if I should take this job because I probably won't get to go home for Thanksgiving and definitely not all of Christmas break (maybe just a week out of the 3-week break). The other bad things are that some of the shifts start at 6:45 am, and some days I'll have 3pm-11pm shifts after going to school 11am-2pm. But other than that... it's a good job, part time, $8.50/hr... My ideal job would be to work on campus but I don't know if it's hard to get an on campus job or not. If I said no to this job it would be a big gamble. I'd really appreciate advice! Thank you :)

As a Stew leonard team member we are not allowed to take tips from our customers when we help them with carryouts to their cars.A fellow team member said to me if a customer insist that i take it take it any way even though in a polite manner i explained to them the company won't allow us to take tips and so that the other team member said to me becareful not to them feel insulted by refusing not to take tips. I just wanted to respect the company and the customers an do my best for freindly customer service and how careful shall i be when i explained the store policy?

*Had a similar question earlier but am now being more specific*

This summer I've been interning at Boeing in a general business capacity. I have not particularly enjoyed it. I am an accounting major (I have one more year of school) and my dream is to work for an accounting firm. Almost all accounting majors at my school will apply and receive job offers from the firms this fall and I do intend to go through this interview process.

The trick is, at the end of this summer, I am very likely to be asked to come back after graduation to work full time. What should I do?

This summer I've been interning at Boeing in a general business capacity. I am an accounting major (one year left) and my dream is to work for an accounting firm. If Boeing offers me a job for after graduation, should I take it? Is there a way I could say maybe and then wait and see if I get an offer from an accounting firm, or would stringing them along only to say no later be unethical?

I was laid off from one job, but have a second job. Would it be possible to collect unemployment from the job where I was laid off, or does the second job make it so I can't?

I'm sending resume's here and there.. and no one responds. I've already been unemployed since April 2006. I even filled out long applications for office positions at hospitals , i thought them being such institutions would be more helpful, but they too dn't respond. Is my only option to give up trying to get good jobs and pick up babysitting or labor?
