Is this a good salary for someone with about 2 yrs exp in logistics? I can do this or pursue a masters in accounting at UT austin and try to land a job in the financial services industry (where jobs are more plentiful).I was terminated from my last job BTW 6 mos. ago. I feel the logistics industry kinda sux becoz I had few interview opps. This new position is with Sony. Any suggestions?

60k is a good salary anywhere, but if you think the industry sucks why bother? if you can afford the schooling, it would serve you much better in the long term. i know sony is a good company and good benefits. you need to weigh your hatred for the field vs the cost of going to school.

wow, terminated and still getting offers that high?

I would probably go for the masters, especially if you are still fairly young.

They will pay you 60k, but how much do you have to give up in time and life, not to mention how long before they say, 'thanks goodbye'.
