Is it possible for me to move from being unemployed, to having a succesfful job before the end of 2006?

Question

I'm sending resume's here and there.. and no one responds. I've already been unemployed since April 2006. I even filled out long applications for office positions at hospitals , i thought them being such institutions would be more helpful, but they too dn't respond. Is my only option to give up trying to get good jobs and pick up babysitting or labor?

finding a good job is a full time job in itself. I recently landed a career change and it took 7 months of CONSTANT resume sending, application filing, etc. I had search agents from 12 different web sites sending me job postings daily, as well as looking at specific company sites weekly to apply to their job postings. Monster.com. Careerbuilder.com, Indeed.com - I had them all working for me. And still, it took 7 months for it to all pan out. IT TAKES TIME, but you have to be patient and keep applying. 1 in 100 applications will get you an interview, and 1 in 10 interviews might get you a job offer, so you have to play the odds and JUST KEEP APPLYING!

You'll get something, PLEASE do not give up!!

I have been unemployed for over a year. I filled out over 150 applications.

I planon being employed next month, not a great job, but decent.

I went to school and started again. You can do it.

Hey, I think u should make sure that ur resume is absolutely mindblowing :)
