Both jobs are the same distance from my house, within 1 block of each other so location doesn't factor in.

Job #1 - an internation company where i would make $35 or more a year, with full medical & dental benfits, company bonuses, and discounts on hotels, cruises, and airlines. I have to dress up (which I hate to do) in business attire. There is no parking except for street parking (which is hard to find. Reputable company. Friendly staff. Lots of room to grow in the company. Working semi-hard, some stress.

Job #2. - $15 an hr. or up to $30k a year. Medical & Dental benefits. Underground free parking. High tech and cool & hip office. an eBay owned company. Small room to grow in the company. Casual dress (there is no customer face to face, so everyone wears jeans, ect). People seem friendly but very quiet. I would be updateing files and working semi-hard. No stress.

Please help!!! Which do I choose???

I had 2 days off last week which were taken after I turned in my payroll sheet. Some how they payed me for those two days still. I don't think they will ever realize they're mistake. I'm getting laid off around August 31st which is 2 weeks. If they realize their mistake after I'm laid off can they bill me or hold me liable for not saying nothing even though it's their mistake?

When they just want to be paid like men and treated like women. Because we all know that you cant tell the story about the head you got on the weekend to the girls like you can to the guys. The women workers will report you to HR and send you to sensitivity training. Why is this?

If you have been fired from a job after being there barely 2 months and leave it off the resume and job application, does it show up on a background check? What if you are also collecting unemployment benefits?
Is it OK to leave the job off the resume since one doesnt want to delve into the negatives?

My husband is looking to change jobs. He operates heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, backhoes, etc. He would like to find another job that pays $11.00+ / hour, with a 40+ hours /work week. He has 15+ years experience operating equipment doing construction, grading, stock tanks & ponds, lakes, fence lines, pushing coal, roads & right-of-ways, housepads (foundations), etc. He may be willing to relocate for the right job/pay.

If, anyone has information about this type of employment, please let me know the location, company name and possibly a phone number, so that we may contact them. Thank you for taking the time to read my question.

Sometimes during a phone screen (or even when filling out a job application) a recruiter asks you point blank about your current salary. On the one hand, it is good to know if it would be a waste of time for you to apply for the job because it pays a lot less, but on the other hand, you could be giving them information that limits how much they will offer you. So, how do you handle early requests for salary information?

I'm the deputy editor on a magazine and the editor is completely disorganised and an absolute nightmare to work with, as well as being really dishonest to me when I discover she has made certain errors. I have covered for her mistakes and blunders for well over a year and I don't think it's fair that I do it anymore. I've even filled up a notebook with diary entries for months on end to keep a record of all the ways she has messed things up. I really want to make a serious complaint to our publisher but will I look like a tell-tale or come across as someone who can't cope with the pressure? Help!
