I love my career b/c it's in a field I've never worked in before, and it keeps me super busy, no day is the same. Time flies by! I work for a company called Abby Office Centers. We specialize in leasing office space to companies - but more than that, we also provide secretarial services, typing services, we even provide Receptionists! We order supplies for them, we have Starbucks coffee we offer them, we have 4 conference rooms they can use too. We pretty much offer them (small companies) a big company look when guests come to see them. I'm the switchboard operator/receptionist at my location, and I answer the phone for about 65 different companies. I'm always busy doing something for somebody. I love it.

I'm on the state emergency response team. We respond to spills of oil or hazardous materials. Never know what the next day will bring you! My job is unique because we never know what the next spill is going to be. We have to be prepared for everything from a diesel fuel spill to a weapons of mass destruction event. This is a full-time job.

I work in an Assisted Living facility as an Administrative Assistant. I get to visit with the residents each day, as well as meeting their families as they come in. I am really surprised at the plethera of stories the elderly can tell you about their life.

I am in the disability rights field. I get to advocate for people with disabilities, teach about disability rights and work with legislators. I get to meet so many people and work on so many different issues. Since I have several relatives and friends with disabilities, it's rewarding to know that I can make a difference in their lives.
