Yes, as long as you are 16 years of age and are legal to work in the U.S. The type of work varies from stocking, cashier, copy & print, etc. Fill out an application and turn in, ask if you can speak with the manager before you leave. If you cannot speak with the manager that day, get the phone number and call back the next day and agian, ask for the manager. When you get to speak to the manager, ask if he/she had a chance to review your application and if he would consider you for employment. If you don't hear back from them in 4-5 days, go by and see if they had a chance to review your app. Be presistant, but not a pest.
