Aim high and higher. Begin to research what is out there, companies you might be interested in, including Walmart if it appeals to you. If you don't seek out better jobs, they won't fall in your lap.

Well you should get a better job with your Bachelor's degree. But it's pretty hard to move up the ladder at Walmart, and they're known for not paying that well either. Start job searching for something else. You have a better chance of moving up to a manager position at a smaller company.

Since you are almost finished with your degree, you need to be approaching Wal-Mart now to find out about opportunties at higher levels.
Your current job at Wal-Mart should give you a better understanding of the contributions made at all levels within a company. If you really want to move within the company, you are going to need to be flexible as to locations and positions.
Your current supervisor may not be in the best position to advise you as to the corporate thinking behind hiring from within.
Tout your own horn, seek out opportunities instead of waiting for them to happen.
Good luck...

Monster , Yahoo Hotjobs, Careerbuilder are some of the largest job boards, where you can apply for jobs and upload your resume. Since Craigslist, allows free job postings, many smaller companies post their vacancies on this online classifieds website. You can also search for jobs from multiple websites using aggregators like SimplyHired and Indeed. Referrals are also becoming a increasingly popular way to get hired.

You applied for the WRONG job in order for you to get the job you want. You are right now at the way bottom of the barrel. Look somewhere else, or apply in the corporate area of Walmart if you really want to work for Walmart.

You need to find out from a manager if you have to stay in the same position for any length of time before you can apply for another one.
If you already have an AA, you are already UNDEREMPLOYED.
I would talk to the manager or HR and see if they can't work something out for you.
