Hello. I am a college graduate (graduated in 01 with a BS). I have been working in my desired field for the past 4 years. When I graduated from college, I had three bad jobs in one year's time. I was fired by 2 and I quit one rather abruptly. I have been working in one place for a little over 3 years. Im in a small community hospital and I would like to gain more experience in what I do. However, I am worried that thes past three jobs have hindered my ability to gain employment elsewhere. Does anyone know where I can find out what other employers are seeing when I submit an application? I forgot, on my resume, I do not include these three places because I feel they do not represent the type of worker I truly am.

I work in Marketing as a Product Manager. I had my 1st interview with this company a month ago, with 2 HR staff (2 hours long). A week later I had my 2nd interview with HR, Business Unit Manager & Marketing Manager, I had to do a presentation & answer more questions (another 2 hours). They told me they would make a decision in 1 day. Well 4 days later I got a call saying they wanted me back for a 3rd interview. 2 weeks later I have the 3rd interview with HR, B.U.M & other Product Manager. I had to do a role play, answer a case study, analyse data & answer MORE questions (another 2 hours). Do you think this is a bit far fetched? Or is it the norma? I could understand if it was for a more senior position, but really, why can't they seem to make a decision?

I am at a crossroads at work: my company is offering a 3 year contract to work there, but the basis of the job is sales. I feel like I went to college for nothing, because my focus will be on if I can sell or not, putting all my education on the sidelines and acting as if it was merely something to get out of the way. Am I acting selfish for feeling like I should find a job that utilizes the skills I learned in college?

I've got a job I like but I'd like to get a better job. This Tuesday I have an interview at a much bigger firm. Then I had a lunch with an ex-co-worker and he is going to attempt to get me an interview with his company. When/if they ask how much money I require how do I answer, I wouldn't quit my old job for less then $xx,xxx but I am looking around. That seems really freaking weird to answer but at the same time I want to get the best I can. How do I word that??

When a job posting says to fax your resume and salary requirements, does it mean to send a cover letter with the resume? Or, does this mean they don't want a cover letter but only want salary requirements? If so, can salary requirements be indicated somewhere on the resume?

My boss wants me to go to a business class at the local college that I'm really not interested in and have learned about in the past. It's an all day class. I am currently working on my degree, but am on break until winter. This class would be in the fall, one month before I'm getting married so I'm already busy with that. How do I tell him without ruining future opportunities?
