I have a degree in Business Administration but started playing poker for a living right out of college. Now I can play poker online for a secondary income. I am about to do a serious job hunt but I have some questions:

How do I show the 5 year gap in my resume? Will most businesses be turned off because I was a poker player? What should I do? Thanks for all your help!

How can you remove yourself from the blacklist? I think my recent employer blacklisted me because i left her without any notice, and she deserved it, but I think she may have hurt my chances for future employment. Is there a way I can find out for sure and if so, remove myself from the list since I don't deserve it?!

I am getting ready to put in my 2 weeks notice at my current job. This is the first "real job" I have had so I am not sure what to say or what kind of wording to use in my resignation letter. It would be great if you could provide me with a generic resignation letter.

I know it sounds stupid but I am petrified of job interviews. I absolutely hate talking about myself as I have had a very traumatic work past and was a victim of abuse in the job. When they ask about the job it brings back painful memories that I do not even talk to my friends about. Of course I lie and would never mention it and act like everything was just great but the anxiety is there and I am not a perfect liar. This has been going on for many years and only gets worse. I am so depressed now and just do not know what to do.

I have an interview tomorrow, for Quality Control Trainer, which involves general qc work and training others. It is a factory.
I sent my cv off on monday and received a phone call yesterday saying i have to come in on friday, closing date wasnt till 18th so i was quite surprised..
Anyway, what should i need? I remember going for my interview for my current position, and didnt take anything, but this is a more important job, and i would like to make a good impression..
I have a suit, but i dont think it will be very much needed, because it is more of an informal job, in a factory, lol but i dont know. Can anyone give me any tips ???

Do you feel that you have to "walk on eggshells" when it comes to speaking?
Of course, you're supposed to have a professional demeanor at all times, but do you feel that what you say and how you say it can affect you getting the position or not?

I wish to start my career as Personal Financial Consultant. As the "Baby Boomers" are retiering, there is huge opportunity for making a career in consultation about the investments these guys may intend to pursue. I want to analyse all the options, and not to stick with only one ..say as in Stock Markets + Banking + real estate etc... SO that I can create a customized plan for a perticular individual....

Trying to find courses, but most of them ONLY focus on stocks market ... Any word of guidance is appriciated...

"Reason for seeking other employment opportunities." This question is asked in reference to my last job. I worked in construction and the reason I'm leaving is because the job is becoming to physically demanding (hurting my back, knees, etc.). However, I don't think it'll sound too good to say that I'm leaving because I couldn't handle my last job. I'm applying for a job in a different field. Any help in answering this question is great.
