Do you feel that you have to "walk on eggshells" when it comes to speaking?
Of course, you're supposed to have a professional demeanor at all times, but do you feel that what you say and how you say it can affect you getting the position or not?

Very much so...I am a HR Recruiter and one of things I was taught is how to read into someone. Yes this can make you ten time more nervous for the interview but remember this...you want to be hired with a company that likes your work and in most cases your communications skills. We (HR or hiring person) want to make sure you would be a good fit in our company.

I just don't say more than I need to. I know what your talking about. The most problems I've had in interviews is finding out the salary. They never want to out right tell you what it is. I don't want to leave a job I'm at for another if it's not going to pay more.

Yes. That is absolutely true, and exactly how I felt when I was interviewed for my school application. I ended up not getting in because I kind of messed up the interview because of an answer I gave.

Yes. You do. You almost have to separate your emotion from the questioning process and use all the good grammer you could ever have successfully learned. Not sure if learned is proper in this but you get the point. LOL Practice and practice and it will be less uncomfortable.

sure does. kinda like you've gotten the job and have done something wrong and being questioned by the authority. interviews suck
