I am thinking about begining a career as an Air Steward. I have the height, age and look(i believe), as well as the knowledge: I work as receptionist in a 5 star hotel. Is that enough for me to go for it? Is it as glamour as it seemed? Which company is the best? Hows the working environment? The pay? And life after that?

My gf thinks waitresses make more or as much money as R. Nurses. Is she off her rocker? I think so but I need help seeing the other points of view. For instance she thinks that if you go to the restaurant and spend $100.00 she's taxed on that as opposed to only her tip which may be $5/$10 or $20 dollars. Can some waiters/waitresses out there clear this up for me?

I have been out of work since 2002 mainly because I have been trying to finish up school so evrytime employers ask me what have I been doing since 2002 I say I have been In school. So what can I do to turn this situation in the mean time because I am only 30 credit hours away from my B.S. IN JOURNALISM but I need money now!!!

This sounds bad but I was fired for theft from my employer after 4 years. I do not think I can use them as a reference on my resume.

How do I show the 4 years of work on my resume? I'm sure they will ask for references and this was my main job experience.
