Does anyone work as a Transporter?

I want to get a job as a Tranporter to prepare for a medical career. I cant seem to be able to even get an interview. Any suggestions? Also what are the day to day tasks you do?

No, Transporter. Pushing patients from room to room and transporting materials throughout the hospital.
