Why are so many people jobless when I see so many classifieds?

Everytime I look in the paper (any any city I travel to) I see so many jobs that are available. Why are people so dang lazy these days? May not be what you want, but it is a job!

I have 2 client contacts that I work with a majority of the time. I'd like to be able to use them as a reference for my next job. I am interviewing tomorrow. How do I go about asking them to be a reference and still keeping it confidential (my employer doesn't know I'm looking).

I’m quitting my job and I need to know what to say in my resignation letter. Can you help?

I’ve worked there almost 3 years and it’s been great, but I’ve been offered a better job (better benefits, higher pay, ext.). I want to let my boss know that I am leaving and I’ve enjoyed my time there (I don’t wanna burn any bridges!). What’s the best way to word a letter of resignation?

I already work 7 days/week, but my boss still wants me to work more hours. what should i do?

I have a part time job and i also have school. My boss is giving me almost 40 hours/week, and I have to go to school a few times a week. But recently my boss agressively wants me to be responsible for more hours, and I cannot work that much because there simply aren't that many hours exist. And I cannot call in sick. I'm really mad because I explained this to her but she stil wouldn't allow me to work fewer hours!!

My best friend is being bullied at work is there any advice anyone can give so she can handle the situation?

My best friend as been at her job for 3 months and 2 weeks after she started her boss started bulling her, she has reported her for not going in early on short notice, bitched about her, she has been so horrible that she has made her cry, she has threatened to start rumours about her and is always shouting at her

so any advice would much appreciated.
