No, masters degrees are post graduate degrees. You must have an under graduate degree first.

There are a few schools out there that do offer combo degrees, but most reqjuire you to get the Bachelors (4 year) first and then go on for the Masters (another 2 to 3 years).

There are plenty of Accountants out there with just a Bachelors, but a Masters does bump you to a higher level by opening the door to more money and consulting business.

Those who earn their CPA, which requires your taking a series of exams similar to the Bar exams for lawyers, definitely opens other doors and can move you into a higher pay scale.

Yes, you can have a bachelors in a non-business degree and earn a masters in accounting.

Will you be accepted probably. You will have to interview well and prove you know what you are talking about.

To get a Masters in something, you need to have taken
the prerequisite courses. I treally won't matter what
your previous major was, as long as you have taken
the classes the Masters specifically wants.

You may end up taking them before entering the Masters program.

Certainly, if you successfully graduate with your MBA
you will be accepted. Other careers and educational paths
give you depth - they don't take away from your expertise.
