Not all classifieds are what they seem, some of them even have a fee. Now why would a pay a $100 fee, if I dont even have a job in the first place. Many of them are scams believe it.

The question really has two answers -
Many high-tech companies are un-able to find people with
the necessary skillsets to fill their jobs. People either don't
have the right educational background or enough experience
in the field doing the work they need done. To hire someone
without the experience requires that they take on training
the person - which the company pays for - and then risk
having them up and leave for some other place which pays
more. Therefore companies would prefer to hire people
who are exactly what they want and not try to shape their
employees.
On the other end of the scale, we have jobs that require
an immense amount of time (and effort) to produce very
little money. Indeed some of these jobs will make it
impossible to get money from other places (part time
jobs, welfare) and don't provide the benefits that make
them workable. For instance, many jobs would be
perfect for young mothers and fathers but have insufficient
health benefits to cover the children or are scheduled
such that it is impossible to also care for the children.
There are certainly some lazy people out there, don't
get me wrong. However, by-and-large, if people find
a job that they can do and it fits their other needs such
as scheduling, benefits, etc. they'll take it.

Brings out a good your question does but here is something allot of people don't think of .....for one yes people have gotten lazy these days .....for two there are more high school drop outs these days also.......you also have to look at the turn over rate of the places offering jobs. I check inot to every job I appy for these days because of that reason. Look at how many times a place will fire a person and then hire some one else for the same job. Even the simplest of jobs these days you have to have a G.E.D or high school diploma . There are allot of reasons you may see so many jobs being offered and hardly no one working . Give people credit before you cast the first stone of judgment .

I don't know why you say 'so many people are jobless' when the unemployment rate for the US is less than 5%. That being said, there *are* people who are just lazy or who think they're too good to start out at the bottom of the ladder. These people are in the vast minority, however. Everyone knows that if you truly want a job, you can get it...though it may not be your dream job.

I don't think people are lazy. There are a lot of jobs listed everywhere, but unfortunately there are more jobless people than available jobs.

It's possible that the jobs you're talking about are low-skilled jobs that require very little education and/or experience. Most of the people who are jobless are recent college grads in a very saturated job market. That is, having a bachelor's degree doesn't set you apart these days.
There are more and more people competing for fewer and fewer jobs.

you are exactly right!
A majority of the people that are unemployed are LAZY!
I have been unemployed several times in my life and I always find a job quickly.
It may not be the perfect job, but it'll do till the right one does come along.
People have to stop feeling sorry for themselves, grow up, get off their *** and get a job. Don't just sit around and wait for a handout, do something about it!

For each job availability that you see ...there are perhaps 60 -100 people who apply for the same job. You also have a good point. THere are jobs that people think they are too good to apply for.

Simple. Lack of ambition. The system caters too well to the unemployed, lazy population of America.

That may not be the problem. The employers may be looking for something very specific and the jobless may not be qualified.
