I do allot at my night job. I replace all the garbage in the entire store. I bring all the garbage to the dumpster outside and get rid of it along with hundreds of boxes left by the stores night crew. After that I have to clean the bathrooms and fitting rooms. After that I have to run into the parking lot and collect every cart in the entire parking lot. I then have to sweep outside and bring the plants inside. Then I have to bring defected items to the back and put them in crates where they belong. At my morning job it's simple but annoying, you have to walk around with a giant broom and sweep the ile's over and over again for about six hours. I need to figure out how I can get out of these insane jobs?

I work from 8am til 5pm, mon-fri. i have over a year exp. i work a lot during the day and there are times where i dont have much to do. but since my devoting my time to this company, should i be making more then 9.25 an hour?

As a rule . . . is the EMPLOYER supposed to pay an employee when the employee takes time off for related Dr.'s appts. once the employee has been released from Workman's Comp. to return to work full-time, or does this time off come off of the employee's yearly allowed time off (ie. personal time, vacation time). I have an employee that takes time off from work for supposed Dr.'s appointments under his Workman's Comp. He does not provide any proof of these appointments.

When THEY ask you what sort of salary you want...and they don't give you any clue as to what THEY have in mind. What is the best way to answer that? Especially when you're moving to an area with a much higher cost of living than where you currently live?

I have never been in such a funk in my life...I haven't had a job in months and I've really been at it (it's 8.15pm where I am so no smart *** answers about needing to get off yahoo answers and find a job...) I just really feel held back. All of these dead end interviews doesn't do much for the confidence. I believe that staying positive is very important because your life tend to follow your attitude. But I seem to be struggling to keep my spirits up and I just dunno what to do. I feel like everything is riding on my finding a job soon. AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY CAUSE I HAVE A LOT TO OFFER!!! IF SOMEONE WOULD JUST GIVE ME A FREAKIN CHANCE!

I live in Syracuse new York so something in Syracuse and I love to take care of animals and I pet sit and baby sit I'm also really good in school. I am in a lot of academic clubs such as Boulders, Peer Tutors, and Peer Ambassadors. I hope someone can help me!
