its been a very trying month purchasing a foreclosure. Today we close on the house. We were suppose to close on Friday but they bumped it up until today. Is there anything I should ask or know before going into this. The title was not clear as of Friday and today they said its cleared but they are waiting on a final paper which will be received tomorrow morning and our closing will then go on record. Im a little nervous but Im excited that this is finally almost over. I hope it all works out. any advice???

One is for a small amount when I was paying emergency tax, the other is the bulk of my income for that year. Is this what happens if you have been in two separate tax codes for the same employment? And should I put them both on my tax return?

I was wondering if there is any way to get some money back on a stupid financial decision my hubby made. He cosigned for a brand new car for his unstable 29 year old brother at 16.325% interest. His brother had the car for 5 months, paid only one payment and trashed the car. We have had to pay the 4 mos he was behind to keep it out of repo and we will have to pay to repair the damages they did to it before we can sell it and then we will likely have to pay the difference between what it will sell for and the loan payoff. So my question is this, can we get some sort of tax break for being stupid? Claim it as some sort of deduction? Thank you.

I did an interview about almost two weeks ago. The company told me that they would call me back and let me know. Therefore after it has been a week, I emailed and left the voice message. The company havent called me back. I first thought they were ignoring me. I least wanted the answer whether I would get hired or not. Later I called them again and the customer service representative told me that they were rearranging the office, cleaning up so they would call me back by monday(today) or so.. Do you think I would get hired if they said they would call me back by today or so? They should of told me at least that I did not get in if I wasnt getting hired right if I emailed them and left them voice message? if the customer respresentative told me that the company would call me back on their decision, will I get hired most likely after they clean up, rearrage the desk? what do you think? based on my circumstances?

On the tax return form, when completing employment details it asks you for a start and end date.
I worked through an employment agency during this period. I do not work through them anymore, but am still registered with them. Should I put the last date I worked with them in the 'date employment ended' box? Or leave it empty, since technically I have never left them?

Hello. How does it work when you are a new nail tech working for a salon and you are building up your clientele (making hourly or commission, whatever)...Once you have enough clients to be able to switch over to rent, does the salon just hand over their clients addresses and phone numbers to you? Or do you have to obtain these things on your own and move to a new salon? (The reason I ask is if you are renting then they should be your clients and you should have access to all their information right?)

My bathroom and living room were flooded with sewer water around 3am on 12/14. I tried to call the maintenance emergency number without any luck and I had to wait until the leasing office was open to get help. Around 2pm the plumber arrived to find out that the sewer pipe was clugged. The pipes were opened and a carpet cleaner came by to suck all the water from the carpet and spray an antimicrobial and left a fan running. My concern is that the underlay was soaked with sewer water and even if everything appears to be dry. I'm sure there's a lot of bacteria under the carpet. I have a 18month old and I'm afraid he can get an infection. Can I break my lease or have management replace the carpet ? Should I call a building inspector?

We paid $669,000 for our house at the top of the market(preconstruction). Now the same model is selling for $420,000 and still no buyers! I don't think the market will come back in time when I have to re-fi in 4 years. I have a 5/1 ARM - interest only loan. What are my options? I have excellent credit and have not problem paying my mortage.

What job has the most freedom to do what you want? For example, I am at work, but I don't feel like working today. I feel like taking my kids to the zoo. My friend asked me if I want to go to Aspen and ski this week and I get up and go. At the same time I am making at least six figures. What is the highest paying job, having a graduate degree (it would help to specifiy the degree if you know), with the most freedom?

Thank you.

I would like to know is there any one that could help with this matter. What has happen is I lived in Texas for 3 years and did not change my Drivers license to Texas. Now I moved back to Arkansas and they say I owe them state taxes for those years. Is this correct? I asked for documentation from Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration that says if you keep Arkansas Drivers License you have to state tax and they said that there is none. I have searched the wed to find this law with no luck. I can’t just take someone’s word for it with out documentation to back it up. What do I do!!

I have a full time job, and pay all my own bills (car payment, insurance, etc.) He does not gove me money to live on. BUT... I go to school part time, usually just one or two classes, at night or online at the local community college. So my tuition averages abount $300.00 a semester. My father does pay for this. Can he claim me as a dependednt even though I pay for EVERYTING else but school.

I am trying to find out what the process of eviction is for a tenant that is not getting evicted because of not paying rent but because they are disturbing other tenants on a continuous basis.

My landlord said that today she would send out an eviction letter giving them 15 days to move out and if they dont, then they would have to scedule a court date, etc.

Is it that the court date and all that is set, if the tenant decides to fight back??

They are a young couple with a child and party every weekend and are EXTREMELY noisy. Basically on weekends our apartment has an earthquake because they roughhouse.
