its been a very trying month purchasing a foreclosure. Today we close on the house. We were suppose to close on Friday but they bumped it up until today. Is there anything I should ask or know before going into this. The title was not clear as of Friday and today they said its cleared but they are waiting on a final paper which will be received tomorrow morning and our closing will then go on record. Im a little nervous but Im excited that this is finally almost over. I hope it all works out. any advice???

There is no reason to close until the title is actually cleared. They are simply fitting you into THEIR closing schedule, and I wouldn't go with that. Until you see that 'final paper', how do you know that the title is actually cleared ?

buy a title policy. It is only about $25 at closing and will protect you in the future if any hidden liens should ever pop up
