If you're referring to the minimum payment amount, yes, a new bank rule went into effect. Now, the credit card companies want to charge 10-20% (depending on the company/bank) for the minimum payment. They probably sent you an insert that the agreement has changed in tiny print that you may have thrown out without reading. It seems that most of the banks are doing this as it is another way to make more capital from credit card holders.

I think it's despicable.

Maybe you charged more this month than last. I never get two credit card bills of the same amount, that would be odd. If you carry a balance they maybe charging a higher minimum payment.

well what is the bill? if its a phone bill, could be you talked more, if its cable then its cuz cabel goes up all the time, if its electirc its probably cuz your using heaters
