Ok, i'm a merchandiser and i've been doing contractor work for a few weeks. I travel so many miles and I know i can deduct my meals up to certain amount each day and my gas too. and things such as car maintenance, hotel, laundry and basic things.
Ive never done this. They said i do it at the end of the year. i know it's hard to overlook the takes since they give you a full check. Is there a way to pay your taxes every month? or when i file my taxes online, how do i know how much to deduct and such? ive been saving my meal receipts and gas and such.
Please direct me to the right info or culture me about it =)

I'm interested in starting the business as mention here in Brunei. I've did some searches and find that manufacturing the tissue paper from ground up is an extensive work or is it?

Could someone with the experience in the field brief me on step by step how to make it work and most importantly the equipment / machinery needed.

The tissue papers that we'll like to manufacture are in 2 forms which is pocket tissues (sample: http://img85.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rpmo4.gif)
and wallet tissues (sample: http://img457.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1152170196cw8.jpg)

Each packet needs to have 8 sheets x 2 ply.

Would it be easier if we purchase ready made tissue jumbo rolls and do the packaging ourselves? What type of machinery do we need for this?

All we need is to have each tissue packs exterior covered with our brand name. So we'll also need a sort of printing device so we can have our art work printed on the surface of the packet tissue.

Thank you for reading =)

I would love to be an automotive mechanic but I will be a college graduate next year. Do you think I am selling myself short and not reaching my full potential? I want to do what I love, but I wonder if I can do more than that.

In August, I rented a trailer from the U-Haul store on Marginal Way. My mother had let me use her credit card to secure the transaction (you can’t rent one without a credit card, or so I was told). The contract was in my name only. I had the trailer for a day. I returned it, and the transaction was charged to my mother’s credit card (as previously arranged with my mother). My husband then rented a truck. The contract was in his name only. He had asked if they could secure the truck with the credit card previously used. They said, no, because the numbers are not kept on file. They stated that they would, in fact, secure the transaction with a cash deposit of $100. Had we known this from the beginning, we would have used cash for the trailer as well.

So we rented the truck, with the intention of only having it for a day. It turned out we need it for four. We called and explained this to the manager, and returned his calls when he called our cell phones, because he was not happy. I empathized, but I needed the truck to move. We brought the truck back on Friday, August 24, at 7:45 PM. The store was closed (the sign said it closed at 8:00), so we left the truck.

We had moved all of our stuff into storage, because we hadn’t yet closed on our house. When we finally did (four weeks later), my mother received a credit card statement. I had completely numbed it about paying U-haul, because I was so wrapped up in the house-buying process. U-Haul had charged her card $478.82 for the truck rental. I called the store, asked them to refund her card the charge, as they were not authorized to use her card for that transaction. I explained that, when this was done, I would pay for the transaction. The manager refused, told me I just needed to pay my bills, called me a liar. It was a lovely conversation.

Here is my question: The card was attached to the contract in my name. Did U-haul have the right to use that credit card to cover a contract in someone else’s name, regardless of our relationship? For all he knew, we could be divorcing. Does this amount to credit card fraud? And, do I have the right to ask them to refund my mother before I will pay a dime?

I am doing an auto loan. I owe $7924 on my trade. They are gonna give me $5000 for it and add the $2924 on top of the new vehicle. New vehicle price is $10995.
Is this how the math will work or am I doing this all wrong?

10995 new car
- 5000 trade
___________
5995 new balance
+ 2924 negative equity
___________
8919 new balance

then they will add in interest, tax, title and other fees?
I am confused but I hope that is how it will go...someone help out and if its wrong, lead me in the right direction on this?

I've painted, refloored, staged, showed, written ads, adjusted prices, advertised myself even!! She hasn't spent a dime on advertising. Now I'm trying to get creative with helping sellers with closing costs/points, I write to her, she ignores me until I trap her on the phone. I know I'm screwed with the mafia MLS system, and I signed a 6 month contract (which I can revoke but it'll create a lot of trouble) but WTF??? Why can't I sue her and her broker for being the lazy-asses they are (after a sale)---they don't deserve anything for any work. I've sold a house myself before, the contracts are not hard, 10 minutes tops to fill everything out, went through closing without a hitch, that house was $700,000. The MLS mafia is just too tight in certain geographic areas to fsbo all houses.

Has anyone ever sued for incompetency or failure to perform? I know a contract is a contract, but there's got to be qualifications.

What does "at which time mean"?

I applied for a job a few weeks ago and Monday (of this week) I sent a follow up letter, on the same day, I got a reply from them saying I should resend them my resume and "at which time i will be contacted for an interview".

Does this mean that they will DEFINATELY hear from them? I really want this job. Is it ok for me to send ANOTHER email asking what the status is?

My fiance and I have been putting pocket change (money) into a BIG jar for about a year now. It is FULL and we have started another jar.

We have been wanting to take a vacation for the past two years, and when we started the jar we decided that the money in it would go towards spending money on a trip. Well, we recently booked a 10 day trip to disney world. We will be going in May 2008. The trip was less than 3,000 dollars (it includes a 10 day stay at a disney resort hotel, 8 day park hopper passes + the water park option, and airline tickets both ways for the two of us)

We did not use our 'piggy bank change' to pay for the trip, but we will be using it for our spending money when we go to disney!

We've tried roling it but find that we are constantly emptying the rolled change becuase we think we may have miscounted.

My fiance will not bring it to one of those 'change stars' that they have at the grocery store b/c they take a % of your total

Will the bank take change?
