Should I become a mechanic?

I would love to be an automotive mechanic but I will be a college graduate next year. Do you think I am selling myself short and not reaching my full potential? I want to do what I love, but I wonder if I can do more than that.

An auto mechanic is a very skilled person. If that's what you love, go for it.

And btw there's a good chance you could end up making more than many college grads who aren't in high-paying fields.
