other annuities and STILL collect Social Security is fair? Should these double dippers have their assets looked at and them not be collecting Social Security (ok Presidential Candidates, choke on that question because that would make all of you ineligible for SocSec!)

I know that several banks has been doing check images since check 21 took effect. My mother rather have the original checks send back to her instead of getting the check images in her monthly statements.

i currently have it in the bank and im only making a dollar a year.(it sucks!). i want to invest it in something so i can make some money. i am planning in half in a safe place with no risk and i want to take some risks with the other half. i want to put it somewhere that was a 8% return rate or higher if possible. can someone give me some suggestions with specific details.

I need bulion. US Certified 24 karat gold. I need it in my posession. I want to pay for only the weight value, not collectable BS that is more expensive than the market price. I will pay service charges to the seller if there is no other way but not for some stamp upon the gold making it more expensive. I'm talking Fort Knox style gold.
No comodities, TANGIBLE GOLD.

Tenant has been in house for 3 years, I have never increased the rent in that time. Today I notified him that the rent will increase and tried to hand him a letter. He said "NO! Not possible! Give me 30 days notice and I will leave".

He is a good tenant, keeps the property very nice, but I am way behind the market rents by $300 - $600/mo.

Property is located in Lakewood, CA. I feel that it is a strong rental area right now.

Here's my story. My Job does not offer retirement benifits, I am well taken care of why I have not looked else where for employment. As it stand what I may make for SS isn't enough to live off of, which lets be real here, it won't be when I retire. I make about 1700 bring home, my spouse brings home $2000 , monthly our expenseses run around $1800 a month. I have no idea how to start with a saving plan. I know nothing about them other then. you put money away and it should increase. I don't like to gamble so I don't want to invest in a stock. Is there a way to invest with a company with out having to deal with a gamble? Also for someone wanting to start out what is a minimum investment? Any help or links would be appreicated. Thank you

for billions. The stock price jumps up to $5.50 on this news. The volume is sky-high on this stock. The news includes the fact that the purchasing company will untimately be going private. What should I do? It's Friday. Can I expect this stock to continue to go up and up until the deal between the companies is a done deal? Or is it probable that the buy-out company will offer share-holders somewhere around $5.50

I am a freshman undergraduate student at Winston Salem State and am not exactly sure what I should major in. I am thinking about majoring in economics, but it is also a goal of mine to one day own my own business. I don't know what exactly it would be, or in which field, but it is something I would like to do if I get the chance. So, what major can set me up for a career in the corporate world (if it doesn't work out) and my goal of being an entrepreneur: economics, management, entrepreneurship, or some other business major?

I should also mention that I'm a big sports fan and wouldn't mind owning a business or having a job dealing with or related to sports (basketball, football mostly)

(I'm not saying I'm going to become an entrepreneur, but would just like to now which degree gives me skills I could use in a regular job, and in starting and running my own business)
