I live in a two bedroom flat with my boyfriend and it costs about £250 a month. He pays as I am at university. I pay towards bills and other amenities however, my loan just about stretches that far.

About £500 but that's after we re-flowed it to pay it off in the next 5 years rather than 18 years. We bought our house 11 years ago when house prices were in a trough. Nice. That's about 1/5 our total income. When we bought the house we could only get a mortgage for 3 times our income, which at the time was only 13K. Feel very lucky now.

400 sterling per month 2 bedroomed house in west belfast ireland: its a pretty shitty area and the house is basically crap. my missus and I pay about 2/5 of our monthly income in rent and rates thats from a combined wage of roughly 1600 p/m which is pathetic really. no gardens no driveways no grass, its a real shithole and i'm sorry we moved in.
