We are putting our house up for sale in about 3 to 4 weeks. We have found the house of our dreams that we would like to buy but are terrified it will be sold by the time we are able to sell ours and make an offer on it. We are unable to convert our pre-approval into a loan until we sell our current home but can we at least make an offer on the new house with a contingency that we sell our home first? The home is being sold by a builder, not a private owner. It has been for sale since March 2006. They just lowered the price into our range. Thanks.

She says since she took out a loan to fix the house up (duplex) her mortgage will be $2000 so I have to pay $700. Mind you, I have not paid rent since I moved back in in 2000. In June she informed me that I would have to start paying $300 in Aug. Now today she informs me that I have to start paying $700 Nov. 1st. Is that legal? Can she do that? I've done some research on my own but don't know how accurate. But I've found that where I live, Los Angeles, Calif. there is rent control and a landlord can only raise the rent 4% a year. If anyone knows any websites I can go to with current and accurate information please notify me. Also what can I do? or need to do. Mind you I don't have a lease or month-to-month. Everything is verbal.

I need help coming up with a good name for my website.
I sell products of every kind, (ie) fishing items, hunting items, frogs items, tables, chairs, bedding, indoor, outdoor, decorations, wildlife items, sports, just for men, just for women, children, toys, some clothing, etc....
The list goes on, but I need help coming up with a name that would be short, simple, and easy to remember and easy for others to remember, but professional.
Can someone please help me come up with some great ideas.

Thanks guys for answering several of my questions today. One more question. I live in a community in Pembroke Pines I have HOA fees since I am going into foreclosure in the next two months. I was told it would be wise to start saving and for an apartment and don't pay the second mortgage that I have. Now is it wise to stop paying the maintenances fees?

We are having a really difficult time financially. My husband gets a very large bonus in December and we will be back on track and then some. So here's my question. I recently went to the ER and the ER has billed me for $700, saying I am responsible for this, insurance is not making a payment. My insurance company just sent me a check for $700. It is made out to me and states that the provider (doctor) was out of network so they are paying me and I am to use it to pay what the doctor bills me.

Is it legal to deposit the check in my account and send him payments until december and use the extra to help us through our rough time financially.... or do I have to send the full $700 to the doctor immediately.

How many real estate signs can be posted on one property? I have been directed in many directions that have led me down a dead end. The Dept of State told me to call the Association of Realtors. The Association of Realtors said that they would call me back (but have not). The Dept of Transportation does not get back. I have three real estate signs next to me. One sign obstructs my view to get out of my driveway. I have asked to have this moved and they move it a foot left to right but not out of my view. I have 0% visibility here and need the sign moved to removed. The later is preferable, because I think that three signs is excessive for this house (which is spectacular I might ad). The multiple signs cheapen it. What are my options here? I am looking at an accident in my near future.

Took out a loan 6 years ago for 90K at like 5.75%. I'm paying around $900/month on it over 30 yrs. The calculators on Yahoo though say I can get a 90K loan now at 6% and only pay $540/month over 30 yrs. What is going on? Did I just get taken to the cleaners somehow? Is there anything I can do?

My daughter bought a house with her fiance in 05' (in California) they have a first and a second. The second is fixed but the first is a variable and the interest rate is doubling. They put no money down and the first was an interest only loan, therefore there is no equity and the house has declined significantly in value due to the market. Also, she has $15,000 in credit card debt. I am thinking they just might be better off if she files for bankruptcy at this point (yes she has learned her lesson) and perhaps in the future they can purchase another home maybe even sooner since he has pretty good credit, housing prices are a lot lower and he could qualify for a loan.

I am looking for an online Savings Account that offers one of the highest interest rates. I had looked into FNBO Direct, but they are dropping to a lower rate (other than 6.00%).

Please share.
