How many real estate signs can be posted on one property? I have been directed in many directions that have led me down a dead end. The Dept of State told me to call the Association of Realtors. The Association of Realtors said that they would call me back (but have not). The Dept of Transportation does not get back. I have three real estate signs next to me. One sign obstructs my view to get out of my driveway. I have asked to have this moved and they move it a foot left to right but not out of my view. I have 0% visibility here and need the sign moved to removed. The later is preferable, because I think that three signs is excessive for this house (which is spectacular I might ad). The multiple signs cheapen it. What are my options here? I am looking at an accident in my near future.

I am assuming the signs are on the sellers yard and block the view. I would just move them back a bit or call the agent and say you can't see around them can they move them. I doubt they want to peeve the neighbors over this issue. As for the number-they can put as many out as they want. The house I just bought has 3. It's a corner lot so one on each "side" that is at a road and then a sign for the company that flipped the house. Didnt seem to be an issue as all are far enough back not to hurt the view of drivers.

I've seen multiple signs on one property, but then the property in question had access from more than one side.

I think you need to be more specific in your request. Explain to the seller that the sign blocks your view, and could it be moved to a specific location, like 10-15 feet further away from the road, for example.

If the seller isn't living in the home, but it's a spec house or it's just standing empty, just move the sign yourself enough so that it doesn't block your view, but it's still visible from the street. Odds are, the realtor or builder won't even notice.

If you are selling your own home one sign should do. If they are used to sell someone else's home and you can't see because of them, get rid of them!!! It's your property and you have the right!! The realtors will get the hint when they find their signs missing over and over. IOf the realtors didn't ask your permission I wouldn't hesitate to trash those SOB'S!!!!!

It only takes one to let ppl know its for sale....any more would just be a blight. Many subdivisions have provisions for cases like this. One sign does the trick. I would remove any more than one.

Sounds like you've tried everything. Try your local municipality they have zoning and sign ordinances with enforcement that will take care of your concern.

Yes. I will also advise you to consult your municipality because they will direct you in right directions.
