I know the meaning of a market maker, but in purely practical terms, how do they operate?

I live in Toronto, just finished a phone interview.

I knew I had to relocate going into the interview, but the interview went well, and two more are schedule, one is to discuss my exact position, the other is to fly to Australia for a face to face.

I currently work as an analyst, my position there would be branch manager or customer service manager, my salary would almost double, but I would be living in SE Asia....I am 25, have no kids, just my car, which I want to take with me, but probably have to sell.....

How far would you relocate for a job? And should I do it? I am really leaning towards yes.

Please help me with my career, what to do with my working life...?

My heart is very heavy right now. I have just talked with my employer and it seems I haven't been doing a satisfactory job.

Please, I ask for some sound, heartfelt advice. I have been hopping from one job to another, about six jobs in two years, the least is two months and ten months at max (whch was the first one, next to that is six months).

I do know I am not dumb. I am almost sure that when I get really motivated and challenged I enjoy a task. But my job choices so far have left me in a rut, often dissatisfying my employers and disappointing myself. I do not know. I do not know if I am supposed to enjoy a job, or do i already enjoy it...or do i hate it but stick on, but ends in work they don't like.

My biggest fear is to discover and realize I'm good for nothing.

The obvious path, they say, is to go with what I love doing. However, I think my problem is not identifying what it is I want to do. Its pathetic yes,

I am going to post a bank draft of 2500 pounds from Pakistan to UK University. But I am afraid if someone steal my Draft or it might be used Unauthorised. If I give this draft to some Eduation consultant or Agent to forward it to University. Is it possible that the Agent will use that draft illegally. I have also heard that University can not Draw money untill my arrival to UK. Is it true ?

I just learned that beginning in 2008, full-time students up to age 24 likely will have to pay income taxes on unearned income, such as interest, at their parents' top income tax rate.

http://www.hansonbridgett.com/newsletters/EstatePlanning/EstatePlanJuly07.html

This law seems unfair to me and unworkable in many cases.

The existing "kiddie tax" applies to all taxpayers up to a given age.

Why, for Pete's sake, is Congress applying higher tax rates only to full-time students? Why not part-time students or ski bums?

What if a kid is on his own, alienated from one or more parents, living off his savings, loans, grants, gifts from grandparents (or even others), trying to get an education, and can't meet the earned income test in this new law (can anybody paying room, board, tuition, etc. of over $20,000/year), how does he get access to his parents' tax returns, especially if the parents are divorced?

Age 18 is adulthood. It's not age five.

Is Congress nuts?

Ok here goes:
Had some bad accidents. Am partially disabled.
I have had to declare bankruptcy in 06
I had lots of slow/no pays prior in various types of credit.
I also had a house begin the forclosure process. I sold it prior to total forclosure, but it shows up on my credit report as "forclosure begun"
I have student loan debts:$40k
I have a question about credit first: how long until the mortgage comes off of the report? How do I remove it?
Due to my disabilities, I have been unable to finish school.
I am also a single mom-without any financial help.
Bills don't stop even though I am trying to better myself. Meaning, I want to go get some job training but can't because I need to work every moment possible as I don't make anywhere near a living wage.
Financial aid doesn't pay enough to live on. I will always have to work and go to school.
My child and I barely see each other anymore.
How can someone get out of poverty?
Will I ever be able to own a home again?
Thanks.

My Grandmother is a Settler and a Trustee. The trust was set up last year and the Benefactors are her children.

She is under the impression she can buy the trust out and gain full control of her property without any negative consequences.

From what I've learned it is not easy to break a trust before the debt has been paid off but I thought if she were to pay the debt in full the house would still go to the benefactors and not to her.

I bought a piece of land from someone. This person buys land, resells them to people who cannot get traditional financing. So, the deal is, he doesn't check credit or job references, but hangs onto the deed until it is paid in full. There is a contract between him and the buyer as proof of ownership. He allows development on the land without exception.
Now here is the deal. He has so much going on, that he accidentally sold my lot. He meant to sell a different lot. I am currently not using the land as it is for retirement.
The land is now in the new owner's name on the deed.
Is this sale legal? Can I sue/win that he had no right to sell my land?
What would the process be to do so? What court?
This is a sale between someone who lives in AZ, bought in HI, and the owner is in TX. So, wouldn't even know where to begin.
He is offering another lot-which is not acceptable to me or to refund my payments. The land is worth more now than I bought it for-so wouldn't cancel.
Lawyers?

I had someone come to my house to give me a court order to appear regarding an unpaid account. I believe it was charged off. I think it is a collection agency or firm attempting to collect $1,700, most of it is interest charges. Should I go to court and ask for a lesser payback or deal with the company itself. I have 20 days to respond. I need a good advice.

As far as I know, H-1B holder can indeed open an LLC or a Sole Proprietorship. However, they cannot work for this company (unless this company sponsors an H-1B visa for them), but only be a passive investor. I consider opening a consulting business and I wish to declare the deductibles on my tax return. How can I operate it as a "passive investor"? How can I declare deductibles without actively working for the company? your insights are very much appreciated!
