Aside from Bush, did you know that the only people in the world who couldn't wait for a war to start with Irak where stock investors and traders. They all doubled their money overnight...

if i applied at a job 2 weeks ago, and submit another application today at the same job (except this time i answered the optional questions about race, gender, and let them verify previous work histories) from 2 weeks ago, will the employer keep the first application and discard the recent one or keep the recent application and discard the first? or will they consider hiring me based on the first application and disregard the second application, vice versa or both?

I'm not paying my entire credit card balance. Is it better to make new purchases with cash (reducing how much I can pay off), or with the credit card (increasing the balance)? Is there any website with the math the proves it one way or the other?

I recently moved out of my apartment and spent about 3 hours cleaning it before I left. Fridge, bathrooms, stove and floors. Everything was pretty well off. When I received my security deposit back, I was charged with $80 worth of "cleaning." That's all it said. Not what was cleaned or anything. I spoke to the landlord and he said he only charges what the housekeeping did. When I asked what that was, he said that there wasn't any info on that. Granted this is not much money, but I'd love to get it back because I could not stand the mgt or the building I lived in. Is there anyway to get this money back or am I screwed? What's the best course of action?

My grandmother had tons and tons of books. Most of which haven't been taken out of the boxes and I don't want them. Sure, I'll keep some, but I want to sell as many as I can. I know about ebay and those sites, but my mother says it's better to do it in person than over the web, so what store buys books?

Investors may wish to look West from Europe . The Us markets are heavily discounted because of the exchange rates. The Caribbean is ripe to buy into. The sellors are expecting to sell in USD and dont care that Europeans are saving 30 to 40 % on 2 years ago because of exchange rates. The Caribbean is stable and plods along giving a good ROI year after year. The dollar will strengthen again which will be a double hit for investors returning to GBP or Euros

I havea 400 watt peavey corporate addition head and 2 large full range peavey sp-2 (they have a sub and a bell and sound great in my opinion) I am trying to gig as a mobile dj and have put several ads on craigs list that tend to not result in any kind of work (gigs off of craigs list, currently: 0) I send quotes and in the quote include details of the equipment i am taking with me, thinkning that this will justify the charge ( i normally ask $100 an hour (but in all honesty would be flexible if asked, that just doesn't sound like good negotiating to me) ) but i get asked for quotes, provide one and never hear from people again. Plenty of other djs are charing more than i am asking and i feel that given the amount of expense i put in and preperation i put towards my events, that the cost would be justified. i have seen plenty of bad djs (notably a gentleman who called my friend by the wrong name when introducing him and more) and these people are asking more and getting jobs. WTF? help
