I'm a student in college and I just need some extra income. I just started working with Noble Roman's Pizza and it's my fourth day working there. The problem is I work my *** off just to please my boss and it doesn't please him at all. I always get reprimanded for doing a horrible job and he would say such things like, "Do you know how to do a simple ******* task" and "What kind of **** is this"? I mean is it normal to have a boss like this tell you these things. I know its my first week but I just feel so depressed and restless about this. The next two days is the grand opening of the restaurant and he told me to take a break and relax for the weekend and to call back Monday for my schedule because he said he was too scared to have me work in a fast paced work enviroment and just wants me to take it easy for the next 3 days. I just feel like a quitter if I quit my job. Is this fair at all? Do you get treated like this at your work? What should I do?

I posed the earlier question about the $5.5 trillion US national deficit. Yes...I KNOW about Treasury bills, etc. What I am interested in knowing is the identity of the people who hold the "paper" on these massive debts. Who are they? What nation or nations? Who is in the the majority?
$5.5 trillion U.S. alone???...plus many, many other countries. Who has that kind of money to lend? Who has that kind of power? When is too much debt...too much debt???

For many months have watched popular TV shows ruined by
constant advertisements. They appeared to be more frequent
on all channels ,when the programme was highly rated. To
be positive I have sat watch in hand timing how frequent
the advertisements appear, the average is every 8 minutes and
at times less. From an hour length programme almost half is
taken up with commercials. I have lodged complaints to Free TV etc listing the times and received pages of facts and figures " GOBBIDILY GOOP" to show the channels are within
time guidlines, frequency and length. I would challenge the
powers that be to sit as I have with a watch and then concider
the results acceptable. What would be the response from a
cinema audience be if they were treated this way or anyone
reading a book and being interupted every few minutes.
once again is this acceptable? Thank goodness for the ABC

The end of my initial lease term is at the end of october. I absolutely must leave the apartment at the end of that month... seeing as how i have plans to leave the country. I may have signed a written notification, i don't remember. If i didn't, however, is there any way to avoid the extra 2 months of payment???? It seems ridiculous in a way.

"Resident agrees to provide at least 60 days' written notice prior to the end of the term. Specifically, resident agrees to provide at least 60 days' written notice before the end of the initial lease term in order to terminate this lease at the end of the initial term. Without 60 days' prior written notice, then this agreement will be extended for 60 days from the end of the initial term with all terms remaining the same."

My mom has 35 acres of hilltop land about 12 miles north of a ski resort town in western Colorado. We aren't able to build there yet but the property taxes are eating her up. If she could have it zoned agricultural, as many area places are, she could reduce her taxes. I don't know that much about it, but I wondered: Could she maybe put honey bees there during the summer, or grow christmas trees, or have an area with elk or deer fenced in? Any ideas are appreciated.
