i am tired of registering on different sites to be told that advertising my services ,being a handyman would not be free after all.only after registering.can anyone tell me good add sites suitable,as not very good with computers anyhow.ginge.

The Internet has so many scam artists and con-merchants that it's hardly worth bothering .. even if I saw your handyman advert I doubt I would follow it up without spending a LOT of time checking out who you might really be (on the web, you can be anyone you like .. and post the photo's to proove it)

(Did you hear about the guy who went to met a 'slim 20 yr. old virgin' at the airport (after paying 'her' air fair) ? .. turned out to be a guy = overweight Nigerian scam artist :-) )

Why not get your card in the local newsagents windows, small convenience stores and local DIY stores ?

Also, MOST new business comes from the personal recommendation of your existing customers .. so do a bit to encourage them too pout your name about (always leave your card, always mention you are looking for more work)
