We have a car loa that has set us back by hundreds of dollars and is making it almost impossible to pay our rent and other bills.It's either pay this car loan or pay the rent.


Or should we let them have the car and lease one?

If we give them the car will it still go on our credit?

I received a check from an "at home job" and part of my salary was supposed to be in that check. My task was to cash it, keep part of the money and send the rest back to my employer. I went to the bank to cash it, they said it was counterfeit and my name will have "negative credit", I wont be able to cash anything at their bank ever again. At my current job, most of the employees are part-time workers, and they try to schedule us to under 30 hours for the week. A lot of times we are called in for additional hours which sometimes puts us over 40 hours for the week. However, instead of logging in (via company intranet) they have us fill out "mis-punch" forms for the additional hours. They do this to avoid paying us anything additional to our normal pay if we surpass 40 hours for the work week. Is this legal? This is a huge corporation, although Im not sure if the whole company condones this or if just the store I work in does so. If this is illegal, what actions can I take or who, outside of the company, should I speak to? Is there anyway to get any pay from the past weeks that I worked over 40 hours?

I've only worked there for a month, and I've had a part-time job the whole time, so there isn't any empty time on my resume. I suspect I am going to be fired. I am debating whether I should quit before I get fired. I have been planning on quiting, I have many applications out and I have some interviews scheduled, so it isn't a huge deal if I quit, but I would like to wait until I have another job lined up.

My question is: if I get fired, will it come back to haunt me later? When I am filling out applications will I have to check the box stating that yes, I was discharged from a job?

i work in the electricians union in las vegas, we work from 3AM-2PM 11 hour days, 6-7 days a week, and its VERY physically demanding heavy lifting and all that , my feet and hands are in pain every day and im only 18, not to mention las vegas's 100+ heat, every day im miserable and hate my life, but the money is pretty good, do you think it would be worth it to quit? i was thinkin bout goin back to school, to study in culinary arts, but the cooks union around here isnt as much money, or i would take some business classes to and maybe open up my own shop, but i think i would enjoy it more, but who knows, do you think its worth the risk for me to quit, to try out a profession for less money, but may or may not like more? is hating your job just a part of life? or should i strive for a job i love?
