I am an O/O and the people I was leased to had me go and pick up a truck for them, they knew I was out of hours but insested that I go get there truck for them. So I use 1 book for that day and it made me lie on my book to get everthing done. Now I put 11hrs into getting there truck and they don't want to pay for for it. What kinda trouble can I get into I knew it was wrong but when they decide if you'r going to get a load or not you have to do what you have to do

when a company pays dividends. why is it that cash (asset) decrease and dividends increase? i understand why cash decrease because the company has to pay out. however, wouldn't dividends decrease because dividends is paid out, thus the company's worth or owner equity decreases?

if you want to finance a house, does that mean you have to get a mortgage loan to pay for the house, and then pay so much per month to pay off the mortgage loan? I thought it was just like you pay the down payment and then get into the house, then pay so much per month for so many years (i.e. 15 or 30 years (depending on the length of your mortgage) until the house is paid for. I know that is how it is when you are buying a car-- pay the down payment, then you make payments to pay off the cost of the car. Is it not the same with houses? Also, is the down payment the only thing you have to pay up front when buying a house? like if I saw a mobile home that is $15,750 and the dowm payment is 10% of that, does that mean I could just pay $1,570 and then get into the mobile home?

My husband and I have had a rough patch and went almost a month with little to no work which put us in the hole by $2,000. Now, he has a good paying job but it pays enough to take care of our present bills not the outstanding debts ie: payday loans. What are some money savy ways to get out of debt? Will payday loan places work with you?

I'm having difficulty understanding the what and why of reversing entries. Is there a simpler example that someone can use to explain? The book states, "They are recorded in response to accrued assets and accrued liabilities that were created by adjusting entries at the end of a reporting period." So, are they only used on accrued assets and liabilities, not on expenses or revenues? Also, how do I spot when reversing entries are needed?

I am babysitting children for a lady who posted an add in the newpaper. She pays me about $150 a week with a personal check or cash. Well i was wondering if whether i accept state pay or not, do i have to pay taxes at the end of the year? How does this work? Also, can she claim the money she is paying me for babysitting at the end of the year, and how would this effect me, if it even would? I am really confused.

Thanks.

I was wondering what i would have to do to find out how much a stock has grown (percentage wise) over a 52-week period. I will use GOOG as an example, 52 weeks ago it was at 400.25 and now it is at 567.5, how would I find out how much the stock has grown(percentage wise)? ex. it has grown 15% over the past year. that sort of form

I work in retail.vI have been at my job for 3 years and I love it! I love my boss! he's such a great guy! But recently there was this manager hired and for whatever reason, he hates me. He's cursed at me. He yells at me in front of people. And when there's no one around he tries to be all buddy buddy & touch me and stuff. Nothing sexual, I don't think, but he pokes me and tries to joke around. I never told the guy off because my boss was on vac and I wanted to talk it over with him. A long story short I ended up writing a letter to my boss and leaving it in his office. This is the first complaint I have ever made on a manager! Now the manager knows someone has a complaint but he doesn't know who. I have to be interviewed 2morrow and he's definitely going to know it was me bc he has to be interviewed too. Any advice for the interview? I have no clue what to expect and I am sooo nervous. My boss says relax but I cant help but feel uneasy. Any advice on what to expect or to calm me down?

I know that if this was an easy question to answer, everyone would be rich. I'm in the Army National Guard and in a long-distance relationship with a fellow soldier and I want to move across the states to live with him within the next year...but in order to do that, I need to make a good bit of money these next few months. I'm only 20 and I'm in my third year of college. The cost of living here is a lot less than where I want to move. I just need a few suggestions for the best part-time jobs for making money. Thank you!

I rent an apartment in PA, and live above a Family from India. Well I have no porblems with the family they cook a lot of ethnic food, and some of the spices they use can really couse some harsh odors if you are not used to them. These odors have started to travel up into my apartment, and make me very uncomfortable. When I approched my landlord with this he informed me that there is nothing he can do regarding cooking smells. My lease does state however that the comfort and rights of other tenants must not be interfered with. Excessively annoying sounds, odors, activities, and lights are not allowed. The landlord claims that cooking odors are not covered by this. My question in regards to this issue is can anyone tell me if I have any sort of rights legally or otherwise in making the landlord take action in this matter? if so can someone please provide me with a link to any additional info that might be useful on this topic.

My stupid landlord didn't pay the mortgage which I kind of assumed when the sheriff was here looking for him. So anyway the date of public auction is 10/27/07. I am going to start looking for an apartment tomorrow, but does anyone know how much time I will have to move and do I need to continue to pay rent?

I am 7 months pregnant and have an 8 year old son with special needs. Should I be looking for something right away or do I have until maybe November 1st?

Thanks!!
