im trying to decide weather or not i should go to to job corps in arkansas

Upside, you can get up to speed on the basics, like your GED. Or start training for an entry level job, with training in basic work ethics. Downside is that they only train you for minimum wage entry jobs, which you can get on your own. If you have never held a job before, or are not sure what you want to do , I would suggest go. They can help you with direction.

Up side : you get real time training and job experience while they shelter you .
Consider the alternative of getting a min wage job with no skills , finding your own apt ( which you can't actually afford ) and doing the same job forever ,
Because you have no training or special skills .
