anywhere you can get your foot in the door.

you might want to start out with a smaller place just because the food business is very fast paced.. like olgas (i worked there dont hate) lol or.. coney island

people these days are very picky and often rude so as for the waitress job itself, dont let it get you down its good money if your a good server.

good luck!!!

pick a smaller, family owned restaurant, that will train you. at cheap places like denny's you run your bum off, waiting on rude people, leaving 5% tips, if you are lucky. or try getting hired at a nicer restaurant as a cocktail waitress, most places train, and the money is better. it's also easier, than having to learn, how to carry 4 plates at a time.what restaurants are in your area ?

Denny's , fast pace but you learn quick and with so many customers , make good tips .
After a year , apply with an upscale place .
