For example check that one FEMKX
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/pm?s=FEMKX
on 1 month TRAILING RETURNS (%) is -2.74 but when I checked
the chart of the last month it kept coming up.
How it can be negative? I'm sure there is a good reason but I don't get it. Any ideas why? Thanks!

I went in and verified the actual prices over one month. You are right, what I believe Yahoo is doing is they are importing this data from the fund's statutory filings, which are only done quarterly. I do not think Yahoo is running from actual data, but rather fund provided data which is never current even when filed.

That means that probably just that one month there was a drop of 2.74%. 1 month means the last one month and the percentage is an average. Year to date would mean January 2007 to today, and so on.
