Many small companies after paying all the fees and taxes involved with a business and payroll dont have the capitol to pay for employee insurance. Some offer group plans and such but its more cost effective for the company to have you provide your own.

Most small companies cannot afford the premiums todays insurance coverages demand. I work with 11 other employees. Our monthly expense for health insurance is over $22,000.

Because they cant afford it....give it 5 years and large companies wont be able to afford it either. Your whole paycheck will go to health benefits.
Maybe if these doctors and hospitals dont rip everybody off. I was at the hospital for a back problem, they gave me a tylenol and I saw on the bill that they chrged my insurance $12 for 1 tylenol....and it wanst even a good tylenol...you know the ones with codeine!!!!

Because it is extreamly expensive and they are already working with a very small income stream. Most companies lose money in the first 2 years.

Either they cant afford it or do not want to. Like the government does not want to provide health insurance for their student workers.

sometimes insurance companies charge the company more if there isn't alot of employees to insure...so they figure it's not worth it.

Because some companies just don't care enough about their employee's and therefore why would they want to spend the money. Some are just plain greedy and selfish.
