I am a very successful executive. I left college 25 years ago to take a job and have done extremely well, making it to the "C"/VP level. Since I didn't finish my degree, it comes up when I apply now. Is there any way to tactfully addresss it? I really can't go back and finish at this point.

We moved into our house a little over a year ago, our landlord says she is selling our house. This is fine, but the questions I have are we obligated to let her show the house for future buyer while we are still living here? What if we are not home ? Can we say we dont want anyone showing the house while we are not home?( we have a baby, and indoor dogs this is just all a pain) Last do we have to give a 30 day notice if we find a place? We are NOT on a lease, we are month to month. Will not giving a 30 day notice not allow us to get back our deposit?

I am trying to sell my house quickly and I would like to know if there is another way besides listing it for sale and following the process of showing in and accepting offers from buyers.

I can't deny it any longer, life is GREAT without the pressure of chasing a career.
I urge everybody to give it a go. Yes, there's less money but the freedom you get makes it an excellent trade off.

I live in Ohio and my bank is "First" and I was wondering if I took all of my money out today, would I owe them any money? They told me to let at least 100$ in there unless I would be charged a certain amount of money..but I forget how much the charge was. I really need my money out though, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Recently, my boyfriend told his landlord he was planning to move out as of October 31st (early notice that he was going to deliver a written 30 day notice, basically) and she got angry and demanded that he and his roommate both move out by the end of September (1.5 weeks at the time). Since he has a place to stay with me, that was not a major problem for him (and would save him October's rent) but a couple of days later she told not him, but his roommate, that they had until October 31st to move out. My boyfriend immediately gave written 30 day notice (so at least he can prorate October's rent if she is going to jerk him around like that) but she has still not given either of them any kind of written notification.
She legally has to tell them in writing, correct? Does anyone know, would his roommate be breaking the law by not leaving unless and until she gives him written 30 days notice? (By the way, this is a month-to-month tenancy; the lease expired several years ago). Thank you.

Forgive my ignorance in financial matters, but I want to invest a semi-small amount of money in something for my baby nephew so that he'll have a larger amount of money when he's older (18 maybe). Is there an easy way to do this? Can I buy something with a large face value that'll mature when he's older? If so, how do I do this? Any help that you can provide me would me much appreciated since I know nothing about this!

One company may hold shares in another company. If one company wishes to obtain control of another company, it can do so by obtaining more than 50% of the equity shares in that company. When such a group exists the Companies Acts required a set of financial statements prepared in respect of the group as a whole.

In the light of the above statement, what benefits accrue to the investor in a parent undertaking by the use of consolidated financial statements?

I have been working at the same co. for about a year now, my job is to learn all the depts. so if someone calls in sick or vacation I can replace them temporarly. I am now in a new dept. ( again ) and found out that a co worker is spredding rumors about, like wrecking machines, making bad parts so on and forth. I had talked to him about it, and yet he dinies it. I know for a fact that he is doing it because of others telling me this info. I would feel like a "rat" if I went to the boss about this. Any other ideas ?????? I dont want to "get even" with him and jepordise my job.

I graduated with a Degree in Communications and minor in Chinese (mandarin). I currently work in PR where I don't get to use chinese at all and I am losing my ability fast.
What can I do?? I probably should have chosen a business major or something like that but it's too late now.
Everybody talks about such a need for chinese but what about intermediate level? Are there jobs that can help me develop my chinese so that I can be useful. Jobs in China? US? I would really like a job where I could use chinese. I've worked so hard and it seems like such a waste to just let all my learning go.
