You don't need to have an establish relationship with a bank before you can get a credit card. Capital one has a couple of credit cards that are for people who has never had a credit card before. Just look for the limited credit ok ones.

There are those new Prepaid Credit Cards which getting a huge success.
You can get your salary paid into and make payment like a regular credit card.

If you have had credit cards or good credit, you can get a card almost immediately. It's your total credit history that matters.

Loans charge you INTEREST ..
If you spend today what you don't have, then tomorrow, after you pay the interest, you will have EVEN LESS ...
In other words, you will have CHOSEN to be POOR the rest of your life ..
Get a DEBIT card .. these will NOT allow you to spend more than you have ..
