Yes. Especially if it is repair. Many youngn' s as yourself repair, switch, swap, etc.. bike parts. If you are already doing this for many, continue as business. Get the word around that you are doing this with contact # to others in your school and schools near by. Print up flyers about it and get them passed around your neighborhood. You can always expand further areas as the business grows.

Do not state on flyer or in person that it will cost specific amount; state that that should be around $____. You may come up with problems and don't want to held to a locked number.

Good luck in your endeavors.

I have heard of other young people who started a small business at your age. So yes, anything is possible.

Without knowing what kind of bicycle business you had in mind, I really can't answer much further than that.

As someone said, you will not be able to get funding at your age, unless an adult arranges it for you.

When you are thinking about your business, you need to do some careful planning. Know the answers to the following questions:

1. What goods and services do you intend to supply?
2. How much will it cost you to deliver these goods and services? Do you have to buy anything to get started?
3. How much can you charge for the goods and services? And to know this, you will have to know how much your potential customers are willing to pay. If you charge too much, you won't get customers. If you charge too little, you will go broke.
4. How will you promote your business? How will you reach customers?
5. And how do you know that customers want this service in the first place? Have you done some reseach to find out if anyone is interested in paying money for the service?

Good luck with your business idea. I hope you make it work.

Oh, one more thought. If you do start your business, be sure to send press releases to your local newspapers and television stations. Get an adult to help you write the release if necessary. Two 13 year olds starting a business is newsworthy. You may well get some free publicity which means you will attract customers without paying for advertising.

It's definitely possible, but you'd have to work your tails off. It's tough to do school and a business, especially one that would require hours during school and whatnot. I know people your age who have worked the stock market, but that's much easier timewise.

absolutely, make sure you start out with little over-head so that you don't get over-extended. You can gradually increase you costs as the business grows and demands increase.

Good luck!!!!
