Well, typically I would recommend some of the more popular classified websites where you can post your ads for free such as:
http://www.backpage.com
http://www.kijiji.com
http://expo.live.com
http://www.ClassifiedAds.com
But with commercial machinery it is typically best to find a site that specializes in that particular item.
Such as: http://www.embroiderytrader.com/
Doing a search on Yahoo for "sell my Commercial Embroidery Machine" pulls up some other potential sites as well.

Check the web for companies that do custom embroidery. Also check with your local fabric stores about maybe putting up a poster.

You might try posting it on FreeCycle. That's an email group where people post things to sell and ask about things they want to buy. There is also Kijiji.com, which is similar to Craigslist.

If this is an industrial machine, have you thought about a local company or industrial machine retail/used/repair shop?
