I graduated with a Degree in Communications and minor in Chinese (mandarin). I currently work in PR where I don't get to use chinese at all and I am losing my ability fast.
What can I do?? I probably should have chosen a business major or something like that but it's too late now.
Everybody talks about such a need for chinese but what about intermediate level? Are there jobs that can help me develop my chinese so that I can be useful. Jobs in China? US? I would really like a job where I could use chinese. I've worked so hard and it seems like such a waste to just let all my learning go.

Oh and please don't say teaching English. Been there, done that. I'm looking for a career. It was fun and all, but I didn't use Chinese and I am definitely not interested in teaching English anymore.

Clarification: I actually did learn and develop a lot of my Chinese while teaching English. But I didn't use chinese in the job which is my point. And teaching English is not what I want to do.

Try signing up to a multilingual recruitment agency. They'll put you somewhere useful.

Get work for an employment placement / recruiting firm that specializes in the pacific rim companies .
They need bi-lingual people , people who can communicate on both sides of the 'bigger pond' .
This way you could be dealing with multi-linguals from each side and your skills should return .

And question , WHY did you Not take advantage of opportunities while teaching english , to learn from them ?
You had a perfect situation to also use your Chinese but did not .
Although you must go through the english teaching sessions , there was nothing prohibiting you from having conversations in Chinese later .
Why did you Not avail yourself of it ?

You say you're in PR. It strikes me there is a huge opportunity or PR-savvy folks to work with companies trying to capitalize on the growth in the Chinese economy. See if you can get with some of the big ad/pr agencies who have offices in China, likely Hong Kong or possibly Shanghai.

Where are you located? I think location will help factor in what jobs are available that caters to your desires.

Business type jobs are more likely to have you find yourself using your Chinese skills.

Perhaps if you relocated to an area with more Chinese people you will find more jobs that need the language requirement
